Visit with Brigit and Friends

Each week we visit Brigit, who is an investigator with a testimony.  She even has a daughter on a mission in London.  We hope to see her and her husband be baptized while we are here.  The dog on the left is Barbi, she is holding another, and there is one on the floor.  Brigi is really fun to be around. Her dogs LOVE her, as you can see.

The salad had tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, onions, chopped olives, and a little mushroom in it. There was a little vinegar added.  Very good!

More Rakott Krumpli--potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, and sour cream.  Yummy.

The lesson was on fasting and nicely given by Elder Dietrich and Elder Fitzgerald.  Elder Peterson and I listened, trying to hear any Hungarian words we knew.  And occasionally the Elders would translate.  It was a nice evening.  Brigi's mother always makes something to eat.  She said she would join us next week.  Usually, she stays in her room watching Mexican soap operas (novelas).  Really! Each week, Brigi says, "She is in Mexico tonight," and just laughs.

  1. All the food is making us hungry for some Hungarian dishes! We're gonna try the Rakott Krumpli. Sounds like they make their own salad dressing? If so, that's amazing! Congrats on the 1 month mark!
