Traditional Easter Monday Meal
We were invited to have a traditional Easter dinner with an investigator family in Kaposvar. The father, mother, and older daughter, Dorothy, had a competition as they peeled the Easter eggs for the dinner. Mom won. It was fun to watch! The little one is named Jasmine. She is a friendly little 4 year-old. So tiny, and speaks great Hungarian! The dinner is smoked ham with horseradish sauce, potatoes, hard-boiled Easter eggs, and an egg/sour cream dish. After we ate, the table was taken back into the kitchen. Now the room is back to being the front room and master bedroom. Before we left, the Dad read a Book of Mormon scripture, Alma 5:14, and expounded on it. Great!

ReplyDeleteWas that theABC meat? Looks like they tried very hard to serve you a nice meal. They look like super sweet people. What a different world though. So they hide eggs?
